The best security dispatch software in 2026
Dispatch tools for security companies compared: logging calls, sending officers, live maps and client requests. Guardix wrote this page and is one of the products.
By the Guardix team. Facts checked November 3, 2026.
Guardix wrote this page, and Guardix is one of the products on it, so read it as a vendor's guide, not independent research. We did not test the other products hands-on. Everything about them comes from their own public websites, read on November 3, 2026, with a link next to each statement.
Quick answer
For a guard company, dispatch works best inside the system that already knows your sites, officers and clients. Guardix (ours) turns calls into tickets tied to a client and site, assigns officers who mark their arrival in the app, and lets clients send requests from their portal. Omnigo is full computer-aided dispatch for public safety and security teams. TrackTik puts dispatch in a command center for large operations, and Belfry shows the closest officer to send.
Top three, for different needs
- 1. Best for dispatch tied to your clients and sites
Guardix
A call becomes a numbered ticket with the client, site, caller, priority and incident type; assigned officers mark their arrival and close it from the phone.source
- 2. Best for full computer-aided dispatch
Omnigo
Web-based dispatch where several dispatchers can work the same event, with officer status in real time.source
- 3. Best for a command center for large operations
TrackTik
The command center shows live guard coverage, open incidents and SLA performance across all sites.source

How we score
- Each guide picks the features that matter for one need, the rows of its table.
- A product scores one point for each row its own website documents, with a link you can open. The score is counted from the table, cell by cell; nobody typed it in.
- “Not published” scores nothing. It may mean the website does not say, not that the product lacks it: ask the company.
- Guardix's points come from our own fact sheet, checked against the Guardix app. A “No” in Guardix's column is something it does not do today.
- The score shows what is documented, not how well a product works. We did not test the other products hands-on, and we do not rank them by quality.
- Prices are shown as each company publishes them and are not scored.

Buyer's guide
Follow one call from start to finish
Ask each vendor to log a call, assign the closest available officer, track the response and close it with notes. Count the clicks and the waiting.
Know where your officers are
Dispatch depends on knowing who is on duty and where. Check the live map: who is shown, how often it updates and whether it shows the officer's site.
Connect dispatch to the record
A call should become a record the client can see and you can report on: response times, outcomes and notes. Ask what reports exist.
Software or a service?
Some companies want dispatch software for their own staff; others want a team that answers calls for them. A few vendors offer both. Decide which you are buying.
Alarm and mobile patrol work
If you answer alarms or run mobile patrol routes, ask how the tool handles alarm calls, routes and several stops per shift.
Questions and answers
- What is security dispatch software?
- Software that turns a call, alarm or client request into a record, sends the right officer, tracks the response and keeps the notes for reports.
- Do I need a live map of officers for dispatch?
- It helps: you see who is on duty and nearby. Guardix, TrackTik, Belfry, GuardsPro, Novagems and Omnigo all describe live officer location in some form.
- Can clients raise requests themselves?
- In Guardix, clients send requests from the client portal. The other products here do not describe it on their websites, so ask in the demo.
- Is dispatch software the same as a 24/7 dispatch service?
- No. This page compares software your own staff use. Some companies also sell a staffed dispatch service; ask each vendor if you want one.
